About Raglan Festival

Raglan Festival was set up in 2005 to promote musical events and community spirit within the village and surrounding areas. The Committee has evolved over the years, encouraging local residents, schools, churches, pubs, hotels and businesses to come together at various events held through the year.

The Music Weekend is staged over 3 days in early June every year and promotes local artists, groups, bands and choirs who perform at many venues in the village. This event evolved to include a Street Party in 2018, where the High Street is closed on the Sunday to host a variety of entertainment through the day.

The Raglan Day event was re-invented in 2016 having been shelved for over 20 years and is now as popular as ever, with a parade through the Village moving to the Fete held at the Sports Fields. Other events such as Tractor Santa are staged through the year.

The Festival Team have fun whilst planning and staging these events, holding monthly meetings through the year, where organisational formality is balanced with humour. Raglan Festival is a Registered Company Limited by Guarantee, number 7790164.
